Project title: Tales of the Weird
Project details:
‘Tales of the Weird’ is a series of books published by The British Library in 2018, which currently continues to publish new titles and plans to continue publishing until 2021. Each book in the collection is an anthology, which through different Themes explores reliving forgotten tales from the Victorian period.
Visually, the book series uses an etching aesthetic reminiscent of the time but with a modern touch through the use of vibrant colors and interventions of digital techniques. Different illustrators collaborated in each book, contributing their unique vision, creating pieces that even mixed British and Paraguayan culture.
