The Wood+Wrap chair is a kind of three-dimensional puzzle that uses plastic water or soft drink bottles as mechanisms to join the parts. The bottles are heated, achieving flexibility and contraction of its structure, which works as a perfect joint between the wooden pieces that make up the chair.
To manufacture each Wood+Wrap chair, 30 plastic discardes bottles are used, thus giving them an unconventional use and adequate to their resistance and durability over time.
The Wood+Wrap chair is made of Apamate wood finished in natural color with water-based sealant with thermo-reformed plastic bottle joints.
