Project title: Argentine Good Design Stamp
Project details:
The “Sello Buen Diseño” (SBD) is the official distinction granted by the Ministry of Productive Development to empower Argentine companies that, by incorporating design strategies, implement improvements in their industrial processes and products in order to promote their competitiveness. The SBD has the support of a committee of 90 experts from academic and productive sectors throughout the country. They evaluate functionality, sustainability, innovation, quality, materials and identity, establishing parameters of good design and positioning the discipline in terms of economic-productive development. One of the SBD benefits is the inclusion of distinguished products in a printed catalog and participation in an annual Exhibition.
Studio Profile:
The National Design Plan is an area of the Ministry of Productive Development that since 2011 has promoted policies for the professionalization of design in companies and conceives it as a necessary link in any industrial strategy. When the design becomes mature in the company, immediate changes are perceived in cultural, organizational and communicational terms. The team is composed of industrial and visual communication designers. Among our multiple lines of work is Sello de buen diseño argentino (Argentine Good Design Stamp), our promotional tool for the national industry.
