Project title: Herdade Aldeia de Cima Packaging
Project details:
Herdade da Aldeia de Cima is an estate in Alentejo, a Portuguese region known for its small villages of white houses underlined by strokes of vibrant colors. The new labels are derived from the façade of an old farmhouse, a simple geometric shape that shapes its profiled cut, to which the textured white paper adds a tactile experience. The labels of the Reserve are underlined by a colored bar, indicating the different varieties and evoking the horizontal lines painted on the houses. Alyantiju, the top rank labels, as well as the honey jars, go for a simpler approach with plain white paper. When viewed together, the labels on the wine bottles or honey jars look like the agglomeration of houses in these small southern towns: austere, sober and adequate.
